Sew E-Z Class / Event Policy

When registering for a class, the class fee must be paid at that time. You can call and register via the telephone or come to the store. At the time of registration, you will be asked for your phone number and email address so if there is a change to the class, we can notify you (this info is not shared with anyone).

All Saturday classes include lunch. If you have special dietary requirements/restrictions, you are responsible for providing your own lunch.

The supply list is given when registering in person or is available on our website. Click on "Classes/Events" and then go to the date of the class. You can print that page off giving you a complete supply list and info on any pre-class work that needs to be done.

Students are required to bring a sewing machine and basic sewing supplies to each class. Basic sewing supplies include:

  • Scissors
  • Thread
  • Seam ripper
  • Marking pencil
  • Rotary cutter
  • Ruler
  • Pins, etc.

Each student must have a LEGAL COPY of the pattern or book.

If help is needed in the selection of class materials, please do so on a day prior to start of class.

Classes start on time so please arrive at least 15 minutes early. This will give you time to get your machine set-up and everything ready to start the class on time. If you know you are going to be late, please call the store so the class is not held up waiting for your arrival.

You will receive a 15% off items needed for that class. The discount applies to the fabric, book/pattern, stabilizers/interfacing, specific thread and specific ruler only. It does not apply to batting, backing, or binding unless specifically required for the class. General sewing notions are not included – straight pins, marking pens, bobbins, scissors, etc.

Class fees are not refundable unless we cancel this class. If you notify us at least 1 week in advance of the class, you will receive a store credit, to be used within 30 days. If we are not notified in advance, the class fee is forfeited and not transferrable. If we cancel the class, the class fee will be returned to you either via credit card credit or cash refund, depending on how you paid for the class. Store credits are not given if we cancel the class.

All store credits must be used within 30 days. It is difficult for Sew E-Z to keep up with the bookkeeping necessary to track all store credits for a longer period of time.
